Oct. 27, 2018 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Your Help Is Needed! On Saturday, October 27 we will be doing a sign blitz to advertise our Online Auction Fundraiser. Prior to this, at our meetings on October 15 and 22 signs will be available for members to take and place at their homes or individual businesses. But, we need many more distributed throughout the city and beyond. Our records show that these signs do help significantly in getting the word out about the auction and increasing visits to the site. On October 27 we will meet in the parking lot of Hubert`s office and members will be given signs and a map showing the area where they should be located. This will be a great activity to involve friends and family members. To help us prepare well we need to know how many members are available so please register as soon as you can and no later than Monday, October 22. Your Help Is Needed! Ekenywa, Nakuru, Kenya
Apr. 08, 2019
I live in Kitchener, and I spend the month of November in Nakuru, Kenya, working as a volunteer for Ekenywa. (www.ekenywa.org). The people on the ground who run the organisation are Ashley and Chris Gasperi, both Rotarians. I found their work, to bring water and sanitation to schools in poor, rural area's, very fascinating and useful. |
