Kitchener Rotary In-person Meeting - January 16 - Charcoal Steak House Our first in-person meeting of the year will feature Robin Stanton, Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Rae Lipskie Partnerships, speaking on Upcoming Economy and Financial Markets. Robin will be joined by Rick Vandermey, Chief Investment Officer, don't miss this key insight into financial issues as we kick off 2023. NB! Pre-Registration and meal selection is required! Our meeting will be held at the Charcoal Restaurant. We will have a fully private room with lunch served at a cost of $32.00 with tax and gratuity included which is to be paid in advance as part of registering for the event. Doors open at 11:30 and lunch will be served at 12:00 noon. Lunch includes coffee or tea as well as one of the following main entrée options. Indicate your meal selection and any dietary restrictions in the comment box on the registration confirmation screen. CHARCOAL BURGER fresh ground Norwich township beef, smoked bacon, Monterey jack cheese, dill pickle, tomato, shredded lettuce, roasted garlic aioli, butter toasted sesame bun served with fries. A Behind The Scenes Tour of the KW Humane Society You don't want to miss this golden opportunity for a purrfect family event at the KW Humane Society. Be sure to arrive more than a hare before our start time of 5:00 pm. as our visit will begin with a presentation by Nick Burke, Director of Development, followed by a tour of the facilitate including a pekingese at areas not generally open to the public. After, we will reconvene at Waterloo Brewing Taphouse for food and fellowship. There is no cost for this event but we do ask those attending to bring towels and blankets (used ones are fine) as donations to the Humane Society. To assist with planning we do ask members to register no later than Friday, January 27. Please note family members, or other guests in the comment box on the registration page. |
