Wealth, Legacy, OR Taxes: It’s Your Choice While Canadians are in the midst of the largest intergenerational transfer of wealth we have ever seen, the majority are unaware of the effect taxes will have on their estate or the generous solutions available. This presentation plants a seed to motivate listeners to engage in planning to reduce taxes, protect families and support the community by re-directing taxes to charity. Please join us for an informative presentation by Lynn Whetham CFP, Strategic Generosity Consultant, Mindful Money Management. NB! Pre-Registration and meal selection is required! Our meeting will be held at the Charcoal Restaurant. We will have a fully private room with lunch served at a cost of $32.00 with tax and gratuity included which is to be paid in advance as part of registering for the event. Doors open at 11:30 and the program will begin at 12:00 noon. Deadline for registering is Thursday, January 9. Lunch includes coffee or tea as well as one of the following main entrée options. Indicate your meal selection and any dietary restrictions in the comment box on the registration confirmation screen. FISH TACOS trio of blackened blue cod tacos with cabbage, guacamole, cotija cheese, and pico salsa topped with a roja aioli, cilantro & green onion. CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD grilled marinated chicken breast, romaine, radicchio, bacon, grana padano, croutons, lemon, with house Caesar dressing. VEGETARIAN PAD THAI stir-fried vegetables, fried egg, bean sprouts, spiced peanuts, rice noodles, scallions, cilantro, with sweet + sour peanut sauce. Riviera Salad blackened breaded chicken breast, avacado, cotija cheese, rice & beans, charred corn pico, iceberg lettuce, lime house tortilla chips, creamy southwest dressing. CREOLE CHICKEN NAAN'WICH blackened seared chicken served in a garlic toasted buttered naan bread with cabbage, tomato, spicy roasted vegetable aioli, and, onion crisps with fries. |

Club Projects
As we continue the work of reviewing critical aspects of our club's operations our third Club Assembly will examine items such as:
- The kind and nature of Projects we do
- The fequency of projects
- The commitements members need to make to projects
Once again, you are encouraged to please join us at this important meeting on 20 January 2025 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. to provide suggestions and feedback.
Again we will be meeting in the largte function room at Memory Gardens, 2723 Victoria St N. Breslau (Victoria Street, North / #7 Hwy to Guelph).
To assist with planning for this event, please regsiter by Sunday, Januaru 19.

Guided Tour at The Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum On Monday, January 27, we will treated to a one-hour private, guided tour of two special exhibits at the Ken Seiling Waterloo Region Museum. The two exhibits are: Beyond the Bricks, 100 Years of St. Mary's General Hospital and Black & Free. For more details on these exhibits see the attached flyers. The tour will start at 6:00 p.m. sharp. Initially this will be a members' only event but will be opened up for guests if numbers allow. Following the time at the Museum, those interested will gather at the Edelweiss Restaurant for dinner and fellowship. Please indicate in the comment box when you register if you will be joining the group for dinner. There is no cost for the tour but to assit with planning we would like members to register by Thursday, January 23. |
