Members of the Rotary Club of Kitchener recently came together at A Better Tent City to help prepare and plant raised garden beds for residents, continuing a valued partnership that supports community well-being and connection.
Armed with shovels, soil, plants, and plenty of enthusiasm, Rotarians worked side by side to build and plant gardens filled with a variety of vegetables, herbs, and colourful flowers. The project not only enhances the outdoor space but also provides residents with access to fresh produce throughout the growing season.
For Rotary, community service is about more than completing a project—it is about building relationships and creating opportunities for people to thrive. These gardens represent a sustainable source of fresh food, a place for residents to gather and connect, and a reminder of what can be accomplished when people come together in support of a shared vision.
A Better Tent City continues to provide safe, supportive housing and a strong sense of community for its residents. The Rotary Club of Kitchener is proud to support their efforts through hands-on service projects that create meaningful and lasting impact.
