When you buy tickets you have a chance to win the weekly prize and if your card is the Ace of Spades you will also win the Progressive Prize which is over $24,000 and growing. The next weekly draw is on Thursday September 1st.
The deadline to get your tickets as always is Wednesday at Midnight. Don't forget that you have to purchase a ticket the week of the draw to qualify for both the weekly and progressive jackpot!

Program Highlights

Our program today was a tour of the
Catalyst137 complex led by Angela Watkins, the general manager of Catalyst Commons and a workplace and Event Strategist. She is also a former Rotary International Exchange Student to France through the RC of Brighton, Ontario and thanked us as Rotarians for what was a life changing experience for her.
Catalyst137 is in the former Tire Warehouse at 137 Glasgow Street in Waterloo. The developers have the vision of making it the world's largest technology accelerator focused on the Internet of Things. Catalyst137 is a 465,000 square feet space on 24 acres of land purpose-built for IoT makers. The building serves as a concentration point for the talent, hardware engineering services, and venture capital support needed to build next-generation companies.
The complex is now fully booked with the large anchor business Miovison and many mid-size to small IT and related businesses such as Siemens Research & Development, Mouser Electronics, Rapid Novor Life Sciences Laboratory and Testing, and Toyota Research and Development. One of the newest occupants is D2L (Desire 2 Learn). Many support businesses are located in the complex as well including – Stryve Marketing Agency, Carta Equity Management, Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC), CIBC Commercial Investment Banking, Export Development Canada (EDC), and Westmount Signs and Printing.
A key facility at the complex is Catalyst Commons, a flexible and all-encompassing work space built by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs. It provides flexibility of month-to-month leasing commitments with offices to suit team sizes of 4 to 24. From start-up to enterprise, Commons has all the spaces, services and amenities companies need to thrive. It also provides fast and reliable Wi-Fi, and efficient office management to mentorship programs.
Other features include – shared common areas and refreshment areas, small to large meeting spaces, bookable event space, private communication booths, 24/7 secured access, “Hot Spots” (drop-in work areas with power and Internet connections for $35/day). Catalyst Commons clusters start-ups, SMEs and enterprise under one roof for impactful collaboration.
