Program Highlights

Our program today began with an introduction of and a few comments from our outbound exchange student Serena Gillespie.  Serena will be leaving for Japan on August 26.  She has been in touch with her host Rotary Club, family and host sister and is getting quite excited.  She is very happy that the school she will be attending has a focus on languages, which is a keen interest of hers.  She has been studying Korean for the past couple of years and is now taking Japanese lessons as well.   Serena thanked as all for this opportunity and will be providing a full report of her year away when she returns.

Our club supported the Nutrition for Learning Program at Forest Hill; Public School again this year and we were treated to a short thank you video from the students.
