President's Comments
President Bryn welcomed all to our meeting today, our last of this calendar year.
Bell Ringers
President Bryn thanked the current Board Members for all of their work so far this Rotary year. He also expressed appreciation to treasurer, Ray Taylor, along with the rest of the Finance Committee (Louise Gardiner, Dave Chatson, Mike Pollard, and Oksana Tereschenko) for all of their efforts throughout the year, and, in particular, for preparing the reports for today’s Board Meeting. Both groups were named Bell Ringers for this week
Happy Jar
Lumi Mironescu, is very thankful for the support the club has provided in her daughter’s application to the RI Youth Exchange program for next year. She is also happy that fellow club member Boyd Pendleton attending on the holiday concerts performed by the KWCI orchestra.
Robert Shipley is very happy his condo has finally been sold and the plans for a multiple family dwelling with his son and his family can now move ahead.
Boyd Pendleton is happy that he will be travelling to California soon to spend time with family.
Shawky Fahel is very pleased that the Canadian government has passed a motion calling for a Humanitarian Cease Fire in the Israel – Gaza conflict
Louise Gardiner is happy to be involved in Youth Exchange again, having Jonas as a guest at her house recently and attending a performance of Drayton’s The Fiddler on the Roof with him.

Holiday Gift Wrapping
Club members will be wrapping Holiday Gifts at Conestoga Mall is support of the Grand River Hospital Foundation on Christmas eve day. If interested in participating and have not yet registered, please contact Louise Gardiner directly.
Kitchener City Hall – First Night
Once again this year our club will be serving Hot Chocolate to participants in the First Night festivities at Kitchener City on December 31 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. An invitation has been sent and any interested member not yet registered is welcomed to do so.
