House of Friendship Volunteer Opportunity

We have a long standing relationship with The House of Friendship!

And we have been asked to assist with their Christmas Children's Food Programs this year!

Deliveries will be done from the KW Foodbank at 50 Alpine Court

They need assistance for Saturday morning December 7th and Sunday Morning December 8th

Deliveries take approx 90 minutes and you are welcome to sign up for more than one shift!

This is a great opportunity to celebrate the giving season and to get your Volunteer Hours in for 2024!

All volunteers should have access to a vehicle and have a minimum of two volunteers in the car 15 years and older.

(Note: younger students who need volunteer hours are welcome to join as the third person)

You must use the House of Friendship sign up details below:

• For Volunteer #1 and Volunteer #2 (15 years and older) Sign up individually using the Special Events Application link found here:

• Write that you a "Kitchener Rotary Volunteer" in the comment fields to code our participation correctly
• Once your application is complete: Sign up for a delivery shift under ‘Opportunities’ tab on the volunteer portal
• Ensure you have a partner over the age of 15 that signs up for the same shift time
• You are welcome to have youth under 15 join your vehicles and you don’t need to complete an application for them
