A Visit with Our District Governor - Susanne Zbinden An annual event not to be missed! On January 19 we will have our District Governor, Susanne Zbinden with us to provide updates from the world of Rotary and re-inspire us for all the good we do in the world. Please be sure to join us for this special meeting event. We will be at the Charcoal Restaurant for this meeting in our regular room with lunch served at a cost of $32, tax and gratuity included; paid in advance when registering. Doors open at 11:30 with the program commencing at 12:00 noon. Lunch includes coffee or tea and one of the main entrées listed below. Indicate your meal selection and any dietary restrictions in the comment box on the registration confirmation screen. Deadline for registering is Thursday, January 15. Main Entrée Options: Chicken Cobb Salad: chicken romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes, blue cheese crumble, bacon, avocado wedge, hard whole egg, maple mustard vinaigrette Charcoal Burger: fresh ground chuck, smoked bacon, monterey jack cheese, dill pickle, tomato, shredded lettuce, roasted garlic aioli, toasted brioche bun Fish Tacos: trio of blackened blue cod tacos with cabbage, guacamole, cotija cheese and pico salsa topped with a roja aioli, cilantro & green onion Creole Chicken Naan’wich: blackened seared chicken served in a garlic buttered naan bread with cabbage, tomato, roja aioli and onion crisps Vegetarian Pad Thai: stir-fried vegetables, egg, bean sprouts, spiced peanuts, rice noodles, scallions, cilantro, sweet & sour peanut sauce |

Kitchener Rotary Board Meeting As per the information that President Elena has sent out we will be having our next Board Meeting at the Double Tree by Hilton. To avoid any room charges members are asked to order a meal to cover the minimum spend required. To facilitate quick and easy serving of the meals we would like all board members attending to pre-order just like we do for our regular meetings. The meal options are below, and you are to indicate your selection in the comment box on the registration confirmation page. The cost of the meal is $26 (tax and gratuity included). Financial Prospects and Possible Financial Strategies for 2026 We are delighted to have Robin Stanton, VP of Portfolio Management at Raelipskie Partnerships, back with us again for our annual Financial Forecasting event where he will provide his insights into Financial Prospects and Possible Financial Strategies for 2026. Please join us for this informative and timely presentation. This meeting will also be our last time for collecting personal hygiene items for the residents at A Better Tent City. Needed items include -disposable razors & shaving foam, toothbrushes & toothpaste, bodywash/gel & body lotion for dry skin, deodorant, shampoo & conditioner, bars of soap, face cloths and bath towels, hairbrushes, and nail clippers / emery boards. There are also several residents that require Polident denture adhesive. NB! Pre-Registration and meal selection is required! Kitchener Rotary Presents For our first evening meeting we are very pleased to have Aislinn Clancy, MPP for Kitchener South, and honourary member of our club, as our guest speaker. Aislinn will speak about her experiences as a new MPP and what she sees as the opportunities and challenges facing Kitchner Centre and the surrounding areas.
