•    They are currently using a building a 'shared space' for the residents. Three former portable classrooms were donated by the Waterloo Region School Board and have been combined into one common space for residents: a community centre to house an entertainment area, washrooms, showers, laundry facilities, as well as a kitchen/cafeteria area. . Kitchener Rotary has donated kitchen equipment, including a fridge, stove, and freezer as well as a television for the lounge area.
•    There are also many ' hands-on' volunteer opportunities that our members engage in including site clean-up, baking, cooking and gardening. Most recently we assisted with the ABTC raised garden project, which will stand as a symbol of hope, resilience, and the power of community engagement and the value of "Service Above Self" to transform lives for the better.
