Our annual Holiday Social brought together club members, partners, and friends to celebrate another meaningful year of service and community leadership. It was a wonderful opportunity to recognize the dedication and generosity of our incredible members.
A special moment of the evening was the induction of Jenna Hammond as a new member of Rotary Kitchener. We were delighted to welcome her into our Rotary family and celebrate the start of her journey of service, fellowship, and leadership.
As an acknowledgement of Service Above Self, and in recognition of his long-standing and outstanding contributions to our club and to Rotary International, we re-inducted our past member, Martin Jones as an Honorary Member of Kitchener Rotary.
Recognizing and celebrating Carl Zehr’s exceptional and long-standing Rotary service, the Club presented him with the status of Emeritus Member of the Kitchener Rotary Club
During the event, we proudly presented a special donation to KidsAbility Foundation, strengthening their support to children in need . Another highlight of the night was our traditional Annual Pie Auction in support of Polio eradication — a fun and spirited fundraiser once again expertly led by our Secretary Bill and his legendary rolling-pin “gavel.”
