The Ukraine Initiative Committee of Kitchener Rotary (chair Oksana Tereshchenko), in collaboration with the Charity Ukrainian Fund “Kindness and Trust,” continues to implement humanitarian projects supporting medical institutions and vulnerable children across Ukraine
Recent initiatives include the delivery of 3 charging stations to maternity, children’s, and rehabilitation facilities in the Mykolaiv region; the provision of 20 newborn care sets to a maternity hospital in Mykolaiv, with 10 sets already distributed to mothers; and the distribution of Christmas and December birthday gifts, along with essential medications, to an orphanage in the Kyiv region caring for over 80 children.
In addition, 75 Christmas gifts were delivered to children with disabilities in vulnerable rural communities and to a specialized boarding school in the Mykolaiv region.
These projects reflect Rotary’s commitment to service, compassion, and meaningful impact.
