![]() Cruisin' on King StreetCRUISING ON KING STREET
Downtown Kitchener was transformed into one of Canada's largest street parties! Camaros, Corvettes, Mustangs and Chargers – take a trip down memory lane and enjoy more than 300 classic cars as they cruise down the heart of the city. Main stage entertainment included live musical performances featuring tribute bands with the sounds of Creedence Clearwater Revival and Tom Petty, a variety of food options, and more!
Whether attendees were young or young at heart, Cruising On King Street had something for you. It rekindled memories of first cars, an opportunity to catch up with friends, share car stories with new friends or simply take in the beauty of the cars spanning nearly 100 years.

Bio: Erin Donnelly- Coordinator, Partnerships & Philanthropy I have been with Sunshine for just over a year now and work with the Fund Development team to fundraise with corporate donors, service clubs, and various organizations. I have been passionate about working in the children’s health industry for many years after having a niece suffer from and beat childhood Cancer and graduated from the University of Guelph- Humber in Toronto, ON from the Media Studies program, specializing in Public Relations. My passions and skills I learned in university led me to this incredible opportunity where I am able to make dreams come true for children across Canada living with severe physical disabilities and life-threatening illnesses.

Ekenywa, Nakuru, KenyaI live in Kitchener, and I spend the month of November in Nakuru, Kenya, working as a volunteer for Ekenywa. (www.ekenywa.org). The people on the ground who run the organisation are Ashley and Chris Gasperi, both Rotarians. I found their work, to bring water and sanitation to schools in poor, rural area's, very fascinating and useful.
